Things are different as a psychology major. I am in a lot of into classes, so I have a lot of freshman/first year students with me. My classes are larger so things are a little less personal.
It’s a whole new world but I feel good about it. Very good and excited. Which is something I haven’t truly felt for school in a long time. I am excited to learn new things and challenge myself. I took a look at University of Colorado at Denver’s Ph. D program. It’s 5 years, although the last year is an internship. It’s intimidating but I decide what I can and can’t do… Grad school is something I can do. It will be hard work but I can do it. Suddenly my grades matter, I have to get a 3.5 GPA.
I really hope to volunteer this year at a summer camp. Since I am not a freshman I want to start working on having a strong background for grad school already. Hopefully I can also take summer classes. I’m ready world.
